At the conclusion of the pastor’s message each week there is a time of invitation. An invitation song is sung and you may sense God’s Spirit prompting you to respond in one or more of the following ways.
· You may want to receive Jesus Christ into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior
· You may have already received Christ and you desire to follow His command to be scripturally baptized
· You may be a member of a church “of like faith and order” (whose teachings are the same as ours) and you wish to transfer your membership to Cross Memorial
· You may have already received Christ as Lord and Savior, but you are a member of a church that did not practice baptism by immersion, and you would like to be baptized and become a member of Cross Memorial
· You may have previously been a member of a church “of like faith and order,” but the record of your membership has been lost, destroyed, or otherwise unavailable, and you would like to become a member of Cross Memorial “by a statement of faith”
· You may want to respond to the call of God to some particular ministry or to simply come to the altar and pray
